Celebrate Spring
April 2006
Spring is in the air and it is time to throw open the windows at Weatherstone and delight in the crisp breeze blowing through the house. I have many rituals to mark the new season. I put away the heavier room fragrances of winter, like tuberose and balsam, and replace them with lily of the valley and hyacinth. Fleur Blanche moves to the front of my dressing table. Changing out throw pillows and using dishes in a lighter and brighter palate are other ways I like to welcome the warmer days.

As the earth begins to burst with new life, Easter and its renewal is on my mind. This month I share with you a new take on egg decorating, delicious and easy Easter cookies, and tips on planting daffodils.
