For me, the real joy in life is to spend my day in the company of my dogs, cats and horses. I never thought I would find myself coordinating my travel schedule for work and play around being away from my pet family. Recently I was chatting about having an extended vacation in France or Italy. That idea has now being revised to spending a month in various cities around Italy and France and coming home in between so I’m not away from my "loves" too long. To someone that is not a passionate pet owner that might seem ridiculous, but if you open the door to your home and seven furry friends come begging for pets and kisses you can understand my logic.

Rather than giving a traditional hostess gift consider bringing a beautiful wrapped box of gourmet "healthy" dog biscuits instead. As we know, nothing makes a pet owner happier than acknowledging the most important "person(s)" in their life, i.e. their dog or cat.
