BRIGHT HARVEST | In Aspen I use lots of pewter because it is less formal than the sterling silver
that I use in New York and Connecticut. The simple shapes both polished
and matte are elegant without being so grand and that fits the style of entertaining
in the mountains. (Lower left) Our perfectly sized pewter beaker holds just the right amount of flowers for a small table. Flanked by the pewter candlesticks, our wonderful green and white dinnerware and hostess gifts wrapped in our favorite marble Italian paper with picot grosgrain ribbon instantly create a chic table for an autumn lunch or dinner. |
