Summer 2008, >> Great Gift Ideas

Many, many years ago the stylish Francoise de la Renta introduced me to her favorite stationer French, Cassegrain. On my next trip to Paris I went to their shop on the Faubourg Saint Honoré and was dazzled by the beautiful papers, cards and monogramming and personalized stationery that simply did not exist in the U.S. at that time. In addition there was a chic assortment of writing implements, pens, agendas jotters business card holders everything one needed to have a well turned out desk and handbag. Many years later we have a huge selection in this country of this product but these French products are the same styles and classic designs that I first loved back in the 70’s and I think they are as right now as they were then! see the collection

I have an iPhone that takes notes but I still need to write things down and these jotters are perfect for that. I love these small chic pens (made in an old pipe factory in France) because they do not take up a lot of room in my smaller bags and write so well.
The edges of the pages in this chic little notebook are gold and the lined paper is smooth as can be. I use these chic faux lizard envelopes for business cards, credit cards, photos, passports and money. They come in a range of colors and textures
