Dear Carolyne,

I have all of your books and frequently use them for reference. Years ago, my daughter, Maureen, gave me A Passion for Flowers when it was first published. She came to me after looking through the beautiful pages and said that when she was a bride, she wanted only one thing as her inspiration: red carnations!

As you can see from these photos, Maureen’s dream came true this year in fabulous form. We were so lucky to work with a fantastic florist, Kathy Wright, who created a picture-perfect event. All of my friends could not believe that the red carnations could be the perfect centerpiece. After the wedding I tried to count the number of flowers in one of the centerpieces and stopped after 100!

Thank you so much for the inspiration that made my daughter’s wedding such a perfect memory.
