Tis the season to be...Blue?
During the holiday season, I sometimes stray from my Red and Green, with a Blue and White scheme.
We showed you this color combination last year with our story "Cool Christmas" and we had such a positive response to it, that I've decided to do it again this year to accompany the release of my book "A Passion for Blue and White"
If you don't want to go overboard on the cost to create this unique look, you can keep it simple by collecting a few outside items like pine cones, a sprig of hemlock and with a little spray snow or silver spray paint you'll transform them into sparkling decorations.
For those of you that like an alternative look, bring in your trees and
mimic natures "Blue" skies and crisp "White" snow when decorating not only the tree but the room around it. Don't forget that you can also coordinate you gifts in this scheme with our line of Blue and White Wraps and Ribbons.
I know however, there are those of you that like things to be traditional and for all of you, we have plenty of gifts, wraps and ribbons that will suit you taste, like the ones show here.
Entertaining during the holidays is non-stop. Here is a great alternative to a
floral centerpiece that will take you from Christmas to New Years. Consider boxwood and evergreen as your two main focal flowers accenting with small mint-julep cups filled with mounds of fresh flowers like the narcissus stems show here. |
