Thus, I am repeatedly drawn to colored glass and have managed to amass quite a collection over the years. What started out as predominantly cobalt and cranberry has expanded to include shades of green, tortoise, black and gold. I am always pleased with the burst of color they add to a table and the way they can liven up even the simplest placesettings.

Tip: If you are timid about adding colored glass, start with pieces other than stemware. Try dotting the table with brightly colored votives. Use a large hurricane to anchor your table. Try out a playful vase. After some experimentation, I can almost guarantee that you will be pining over a new set of glasses for your next tabletop creation.

Top: Set the mood with delicious hues. And always include candles after dark. They cast a particularly gorgeous light on colored glass. Bottom left: Dramatic stemware and stylish tumblers from the Black & White Holiday Collection. Bottom right: Etched glass adds instant texture to your table. See Black & White Holiday Collection for specifics.
