I have been to many a wedding where the favors have absolutely no correlation to the rest of the affair. As a designer, I find this nearly incomprehensible. It is such a nice touch to make the favors a lovely element that is both thoughtful and beautifully presented.
Because I love all of the details that go into creating a fabulous event, I am always on the lookout for special boxes, pillows and paper products to use on tables. I often wrap a special CD or a favorite new book for dinner party guests. It's fun to give a takeaway remembrance of the evening and the little gifts give the table an extra zing. Here, we are offering what I consider to be the haute couture of packaging. Whether you’re giving a little box of candied almonds or a more extravagant silver charm, these paper goods are elegant, well made and basic enough to “dress” with the appropriate ribbon, paper, and flowers, to fit your particular theme and personal style.

Above: Traditionally, gifts are given at an event preceding the wedding such as the bridesmaids’ luncheon or rehearsal dinner. Choosing objects that are small and integrating them into your tablescape is a beautiful way to carry out your theme. Left: A sterling-sliver key chain is an extravagant gift tie-on, which can be engraved with a date or monogram. Below: Our pyramid box finished with three different ribbons and colors shows its versatility. The Weatherstone cipher makes a beautiful decoration but can be replaced with your own monogram.
