A bit of advanced planning and attention to detail will leave your Valentine feeling doted upon. Think of ways to spoil your Valentine from dawn through midnight: Serve a playful breakfast of coffee and Krispy Kremes with a nosegay of violets. Send flowers and chocolates to the office so your Valentine gets a burst of pride when co-workers see the special gifts. Take your Valentine out for a surprise champagne lunch. Decorate the car with flowers and balloons and have a special soundtrack of love songs playing when you pick up your Valentine for dinner….
And this year, remember that the celebration goes beyond couples. Use some of my suggestions here to share with others the warmth and love this holiday commemorates.
